Sigatoka, Fiji I highly recommend everyone to visit the aquarium but most certainly book a shark dive as we did , lets start with the fact that since I was small I was scared and terrified of sharks , I dont swim deep in the beach and even when Im in a pool I often get scare with the thought of there been a shark its funny but its the reality Ive lived for many years , and with that been said since Im scared of sharks so much I never missed a year on shark week because Im also fascinated by them , so my partner found out about the shark dive at the aquarium and though this could be an amazing experience for me as it was the best experience Ive had in years , lets start with everyone that works there been very polite and very professional but I have to most definitely mention my shark instructor Jim , and my tour guy Joe , when we arrived Joe gave us some gifts that were amazing shark tooths can you believe I was amazed already and he took us around and explain to us the species of the fishes that are in the aquarium and answered all our questions what I loved about Joe its that he knows so much about everything thats in the aquarium and about the fishes and information about how some of the sharks have gotten there and how much they do to protect them which was very good to learn and to understand that they are not there for us to see but because they are been helped , now Jim he was amazing in all the ways I can possibly mention , he was in charge of the dive he made sure we knew everything we needed to kno and he got us and in specially me ready to what was going to happen inside the tank and he educated us on the best behavior possible to have a great time , what I love about Jim its that he cares a lot about the sharks and making sure everything its safe first , he made me feel very calm and I never though I was going to be so calm with taking that step into ok lets do this but Jim was there to make sure we was comfortable and to understand that there was nothing to fear but to enjoy this beautiful experience, he gave us the details of everything and then took us to get ready with the wet suits which was super enjoyable because I dont kno my size on anything but Jim got me the perfect size , when we were done he got us hooked and when we were inside the cage still outside the water I got nervous not because of the sharks because Jim made sure to take any fear of my head but because of the mask hehehe but once again Jim helped me through it and I got to so it , once inside I got to see the sharks so close soooo right in front of my face oh my god it was fantastic how much you think you kno something you dont they are beautiful creatures they are passive they were very curious and they were passing by us checking us out like for realllllllll hiiii Bertha ( one of the sharks names ) she was very interested in seen who was there hehehe, my though was that they were going to be swimming around but they really got close to us enough for us to see their skin the teeth wow the experience was beyond amazing , of course we captured everything with the go pro camera that we rented very affordable and you can see the whole dive as when we were in the cage , now will all this been said I recommend it 1000000 percent , Jim will be there making sure your dive experience its unique and I hope you all get Joe as the tour guy when you guys arrive because hes just amazing I will forever remember this experience and I thank the aquarium to be able.
